Hello, my name is Erin! I am the artist behind Erin’s Frame of mind.

I’m based out of Western New York; I graduated from SUNY Oswego with a BFA in Studio art and my concentration was drawing. I work in a variety of mediums both traditional and digital. I love learning new techniques and experimenting to keep things interesting.

Art has always been something I loved to do from a young age. It gives me an outlet to shut my brain off and just create!

As a kid I loved drawing, I got more serious about it in high school and took interest in portraits. Something about being able to capture a fleeting facial expression just fascinated me. I started with graphite and colored pencils but during college transitioned into ballpoint pens and fine-liners.

In the last year I’ve started getting back into painting both with acrylic and oil paints. I’m working on building a portfolio of pet portraits and that has been really exciting.

In college I really enjoyed getting to experiment with making digital art in conjunction with my studio classes. I recently have gotten back into and am building a collection of stickers and art prints !
